ANY ALTERING OF RULES OUTSIDE OF WHAT IS STATED WILL BE AN AUTOMATIC LOAD IF DEEMED EXCESSIVE IT WILL BE REMOVED
All Cars will be receiving at total of 4 4”x4”x ¼” fix-a-plates
(Parallelogram allowed)
ALL plates can be welded on all 4 sides.
As well as 2 4”x10” bumper plate (outer rail tight to backing of bumper)
4 locations of 9 wire permitted in any location(may not cross, be tied together or looped in anyway)
9 wire strands may not be longer than the width of the vehicle
Plates MUST be 1” apart between welds; allowed a ½” bead of weld around the ENTIRE plate
GENERAL
- ANY and ALL rust repair must be approved by officials.
- All debris such as glass, trash, and other materials must be removed from the car.
- Must be a 4/6cyl FWD/RWD compact/midsize car under a 113” wheel base
(RWD 109” or less) No full frame.
4. Any OEM factory car bumper may be used
Approved Aftermarket Bumpers will be allowed such as SMW, Dowd, Kiskadden Fab. (Can be seam welded) must be able to see through. Bumpers can be no more than a ¼ " material.
5. No homemade Pointy bumpers (must be a flat face)
6. No Chrysler pointy or loaded bumpers
7. 10” pointy bumpers only
8. You will be given 2 wraps of braided 9 wire from TOP of core support to bumper ONLY- to keep bumper from falling on track
9. Max 21” to bottom of bumper from ground
10. All Factory rubber mounts must remain stock unless damaged, if damaged can be replaced with hockey puck this means subframe, motor mounts etc. Contact Official to get approval.
11. May run solid motor mounts using factory ends (mount only)
BODY:
- All door seams can be welded with a 5” x 5” or smaller, with 5 plates per seam
- Drivers door can be welded solid and reinforced as heavy as wanted but may NOT EXCEED more than 2” past the door itself
- Trunk lid may remain in factory location, tucked or removed
- Rear quarters may be creased (but must remain upright), trunk may be dished but must remain 12” off floor must have 8” inspection hole in trunk or have clear view in trunk
- Hoods can be secured in 4 locations if bolting, can use 2x2 angle iron 4” long max with Maximum ½” bolts
- If 9 wiring hood 8 locations may be used
- Hoods may have 10 bolts max surrounding your 10” inspection hole ⅜” bolts Max
- All-thread may be used to secure the hood as well 4 locations max size of ½” with max 5”x5” washer
- 2 of the 4 pieces of ½” all thread may run through top of core support
SUSPENSION and STEERING:
- All suspension parts must remain stock but are permitted spring/strut risers
- Suspension may be welded solid
- No reinforcement or strengthening of hubs,spindles, or axles
- Tie rods may be reinforced
- Aftermarket steering columns may be used
DRIVELINE
- RWD: will receive 1 2”x2” trans brace (but must run factory driveshaft) this is strictly to help keep trans in. Abuse this rule and you will lose it all together.
- Trans cooler permitted inside. All lines must be secure and double clamped.
- Headers permitted and must go straight up or directly at ground if stock exhaust
- HEADER PROTECTORS permitted strictly on header if tied in elsewhere YOU will lose it completely
- Aftermarket shifters and pedals are permitted
- Simplified harness permitted
- NO Factory tanks permitted to be run under vehicle, and NO factory tanks inside car
Aftermarket tank and lines must be double clamped at all connections and LEAK PROOF
If using an aftermarket tank inside must be secured fully and have NO movement, NO PLASTIC TANKS.
BUMPER
- Seam welding permitted on bumper ONLY
- Bumper height– bottom of bumper must be NO MORE than 21” off the ground
- Frames may be cut back to core support area and capped with a 6”X6”X1/4” plate This plate is to go on the end cap of the bumper and is to not be bent around the rail.
- Core support MUST remain in factory position and NOT removed or moved
- Bumpers cannot be formed and cut around the rails MUST be mounted to end of rail ONLY
- Bumpers cannot exceed the width of the front tires.
- Permitted 4”x10” Plate outside rails
- 9 wire is permitted in two locations top of core support to bumper 3 wraps per location
- Back bumper permitted 2 locations 3 wraps 9 wire to tail light cover only
- Back bumper may be changed to square tubing must be flat, absolutely no points
CAGE
- 4 point cage recommend but is not mandatory
- Max size of 2”X6” or 4”X4”
- Back bar is MANDATORY
- Cage must stay in driver compartment/interior cockpit and minimum of 2" off of firewall
- Door bars cannot be longer than 60”
- Gas tank protector permitted, No greater than 25″ wide and no greater than 4″x4″ square tubing may touch packing tray, cannot be pressured.
- May have 2 2”x2” max kickers from side of halo level to tank protector
- Front window bar MANDATORY can use 9 wire,chain, or 2”x2” tubing
- Rear window bars permitted MAX 2”x2” square tube must run to the top of the rear subframe using a 4” x 4” ¼” plate on top of rear sub. We do not want these breaking off. Questions on this please ask.
- Halo bar permitted and may connect front and back window bar to halo 4 4” gussets max to keep the bars attached may not be welded to roof
FRAME
- No welding on frame, exception bumper mounting. NO PLATING, PINNING, FORMING of frame or unibody.
- Frame must remain stock unless otherwise specified in rules
- No foreign substance or materials in frames, we have the right to drill and scope
TIRES and WHEELS
- Open tire as long as it has rubber surrounding the wheel
- Sidewall protectors are permitted
- NO BEADLOCKS
- Lip protectors, Simple weld in center and valve stem protector permitted
- Solid rears are allowed.
